DISCOVERY COMMUNICATION | UPFRONT INTRO
This project was a delightful endeavor, a modern twist on vintage movie theater intermission animations. In the spirit of bygone days, when intermissions encouraged audiences to visit the concession stand, Discovery saw an opportunity to introduce some of their popular shows at their Upfront event. The challenge lay in blending contemporary events and technologies with an illustration style reminiscent of the sixties era. We approached this by infusing the animations with nods to current trends and advancements, all while maintaining the charming aesthetic of the past. The result was a playful and nostalgic homage that seamlessly merged the old with the new, captivating audiences and setting the stage for Discovery's exciting lineup of programming.
